The iPhone 15 is set to be announced on September 12, and we all know that it is going to add USB-C – Apple even confirmed it a few months ago. Which means that you’re going to need to buy new battery packs and chargers for the iPhone. Of course, Anker is right there for you.
Anker has just debuted its new MagGo series of wireless chargers, that use Qi2 technology. So theoretically they should work with Android devices once Qi2 launches in the next year or so. And these can even charge an iPhone at 15W wirelessly, however, Apple will need to enable it.
First up from Anker is the new MagGo battery pack. It’s been a pretty popular one for the company in recent years, since Apple added MagSafe. It hasn’t really changed much, other than adding a display to the side. This display lets you see things like the current charge, and how long until empty. It’s a 10,000mAh capacity battery, so it should give you about two full charges, depending on the phone. There is also a USB-C port available that will allow you to charge other devices at up to 27W.
Anker is also launching a thinner model that is 6,000mAh and it will also have a kickstand. Making it great for working with the iOS 17 StandBy Mode.
Anker has more chargers for the iPhone 15
Something that has become pretty popular since the launch of MagSafe, has been the availability of trio chargers. A wireless charger that lets you wirelessly charge your phone, watch and earbuds at the same time. And Anker has a new one too. It’s the MagGo Wireless Charging Station, and there’s three of them. There’s also a 15W wireless pad charger available.
There’s also the Anker MagGo Magnetic Charging Station, this is a 8-in-1 charger that can charge at up to 67W. This gives you a wireless charging pad on the front – great for StandBy Mode. As well as having three AC ports, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. So you can charge basically everything here.
That’s not all that Anker is unveiling today. It’s also unveiling a new Nano Power Bank that basically looks like a dongle. It comes in a ton of colors, and basically you plug it into your phone and it charges. Kinda like a dongle. Anker also has the new Nano Charging Station. This is a 6-in-1 67W charger that has two AC outlets, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports.
These devices are all expected to launch in late 2023. There’s no price tags on any of them yet, but we’d expect that to change shortly after the iPhone 15 is announced on September 12.
