The ASUS ZenFone 10 just got certified, and Android 13 inclusion got confirmed in the process. The phone got certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
The ASUS ZenFone 10 got certified with Android 13
This certification not only confirmed that Android 13 will be installed, but it also confirmed the supported Wi-Fi bands, of course. The phone will support 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz Wi-Fi.
The ZenFone 10 will launch on June 29, if you’re out of the loop. The company confirmed that launch date a while back. The phone will resemble its predecessor quite a bit, as far as the design is concerned.
It will be one of the most compelling compact phone offerings out there, as the ZenFone 9 was, at least based on what we know thus far. A 5.9-inch display has been confirmed by the company. So it’ll have the same display size as the ZenFone 9.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will follow the phone, while 5 color options will be at your disposal
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel this handset, while the device will offer up to 16GB of RAM. We also know that it will arrive in a bunch of color options, including black, white, red, blue, and green.
The ASUS ZenFone 9 did not offer wireless charging, but the ZenFone 10 will. ASUS confirmed that much, but we still don’t know the charging speed it’ll offer. Chances are it will be 15W wireless charging, if ASUS doesn’t surprise us with something faster.
ASUS will bring its second-gen gimbal stabilization too
The phone will also see some improvements in the camera department, of course. We still don’t know the details regarding its camera sensors, but a second-gen six-axis gimbal stabilization will be on offer.
ASUS will also bring back its multifunctional power/lock button, which will also serve as a fingerprint scanner, and a touchpad of sorts. The back side of the phone will be grippy, as it was on the ZenFone 9, as ASUS doesn’t plan on using glass, at least based on the leaked images.
