The TCL NXTPAPER 11 showed up at MWC, and its display is one of the most interesting that we’ve seen
MWC is currently going on, and top tech brands are showing off their interesting and innovative products. TCL is one of them, and it showed us its TCL NXTPAPER 11 tablet. What makes this tablet stand out is its unique display technology that TCL developed called NXTPAPER.
This is an 11-in tablet, so it’s one of the larger ones that you’ll see on the market. It’s an IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200. It’s technically a 2k display, but it’s closer to 1080p having 1,000 pixels more.
As for the internals, this tablet comes with the power-efficient MediaTek Helio P60T SoC. It’ll provide enough power to get you through your typical tasks and it’s backed up by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Keeping the lights on, we have a decently large 8000mAh battery which is pretty average for a tablet of this size. Other specs include a quad-speaker setup, two microphones, and two 8-megapixel cameras- one on the front and one on the back.
This tablet has a unique display
One interesting thing about this tablet is the display technology. TCL calls it NXTPAPER technology. The thing about this display technology is that it prioritizes eye safety. It’s basically like looking at a sheet of paper. The technology filters out harmful blue light to help you view the screen more comfortably. This tablet uses NXTPAPER 2.0 technology. It is 150% brighter than NXTPAPER 1.0. This makes it much easier to see in daylight. Also, it helps cut our distracting glare.
This tablet brings a unique display technology that you don’t see anywhere else on the tablet market, and that’s the reason why we gave it our award for best of MWC.
