In addition to these new features that are coming to Chrome for the Google privacy awareness month, the company is also announcing a partnership. This partnership brings Google and CISA on the same team to help educate people on online safety. Here are the new privacy features you should expect on Google Chrome, as well as details on this partnership.

Chrome users are now getting a ton of security features during the Google Privacy Awareness Month

Starting the list of security features coming to Google Chrome is the ability to clear browsing data. With an upgrade, accessing the “Clear Browsing Data” settings option is easier than ever before. This setting now sits above the history section, accessible from the three-dot icon to the top right-hand side of the interface.

With this feature, users no longer have to wait one hour before clearing their browsing data. The wait has been reduced from one hour to just 15 minutes, which helps to better protect privacy. Another new feature on Google Chrome is the Dark Web reports that made its debut on the Gmail app.

This feature helps users to check if their email address is available on the dark web. Users can access this new feature for usage via the Google app account menu. Only users of Android devices have access to this feature for now, it will be making its way to iOS devices soon.

Well, if you use an iOS device, there is no need to feel unhappy about Android users getting a security feature before you. The Google Password Manager can now serve as the default autofill provider on iOS devices. This will be open for usage across all apps if users decide to make it the default autofill provider.

There might be more security features that are coming to Google Chrome, but in the meantime, users can get more familiar with these new entries.
