The Pixel 7a comes with all-new cameras
The Pixel 7a is actually a really big upgrade over the Pixel 6a. One might say, it’s the biggest upgrade ever for the a-series. There’s a lot of new things here, including the entire camera setup. Every sensor on this phone is new to Pixel. That includes the 64-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
Google has also brought along many of its most popular features to this camera. This includes 4K30 on all cameras. With the main sensor being capable of 4K60. There’s also Super Res Zoom up to 8x available (Pixel 6a was only doing up to 6x). Google has also added Photo Unblur, Magic Eraser and Long Exposure. Additionally, Night Sight is 2x as fast and sharp thanks to the new Tensor G2 processor and the new camera sensors on-board this one.
Inside, the Pixel 7a also has the Tensor G2 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s a 4385mAh capacity battery inside, and that also comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ gOLED 90Hz display. So it’s quite a big of phone for just $499. Especially when compared to some of its competitors on the market today.
