This isn’t just a problem for old iPhones either. Even those with shiny new iPhone 15 models are reporting their alarms are dead. And it’s not just the latest iOS 17.2 update causing the trouble; some on older versions of iOS 17 are having the same nightmare. Redditors suggest a few workarounds to fix the issue
One Redditor recommends disabling the Attention-Aware Features on iPhones that have Face ID, like the iPhone X and newer models. Another user proposes turning off the Standby Mode. Some users also suggest switching from a custom alarm to a regular one. Additionally, removing alarms set too close together in time could also solve the alarm issue.
