At CES this year, Lenovo is announcing some new gaming desktops called the Legion Tower 7i and the Legion Tower 5i to accompany its latest lineup of gaming laptops. The Legion Tower 7i is the more powerful of the two, but both PCs are equipped with decent specs and should promise more than capable performance for gamers looking at prebuilt machines.
Starting with the Legion Tower 7i, this is a monster 34L tower that Lenovo says is “built for extreme power and performance.” It features the latest Intel 13th Gen CPUs and next-gen NVIDIA RTX GPUs. Specifically up to the RTX 4090.
The Legion Tower 7i also comes with up to 64GB of DDR5 5600Mhz RAM. Additionally, you can get it with up to 6TB of storage. So you should never run out of room for games or memory for running programs. A larger VRM heatsink and 6 ARGB fans promote enhanced cooling to keep the temps down too. And if you want even more cooling, Lenovo offers an optional liquid cooling system that can be applied. Pricing for the Legion Tower 7i starts at $2,479.99 and should launch in April.
If that sounds like a bit much, Lenovo has two other options at much lower prices.
Lenovo brings two entry level Legion Tower PCs to CES
Prebuilt machines aren’t always the cheapest way to go. But they do offer the convenience of having a PC ready to boot up right out of the box. To cater to the market looking at less expensive options, Lenovo announced the new Legion Tower 5i and Legion Tower 5. The Legion Tower 5i is planned for a launch in April starting at $1,199.99. While the Legion Tower 5 is planned for a launch in May at $1,299.99.
Both PCs come in a 26L case and come with many of the same specs. Including up to 2TB of storage as well as up to 32GB of 5600Mhz DDR5 RAM. They’ll also come with next-gen NVIDIA RTX GPUs (up to the RTX 4070), and enough ports to plug in all your peripherals. Where these differ mainly is the CPU. The Legion Tower 5i comes with up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900F CPU. Whereas the Legion Tower 5 comes with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 CPU.
