LG is headed to IFA this year with a new TV, which is a bit surprising since their TVs are usually announced at CES in January. But this year, they are showing off their new LG OLED Flex (model LX3). This is a new 42-inch OLED TV that is bendable. And it allows you to go from a curved TV to a flat TV with just a button press.

There is a button on the remote that allows the TV to go from curved to flat. Which means you won’t need to manually adjust it like some monitors. LG has two presets, but owners are also able to adjust the curve of the display in five percent increments. And there are 20 different curve levels.

So who is this TV for?

LG is pushing this towards gamers. Since it is a smaller TV, and moreso a monitor than a TV, it is going to work really well for gamers. It also has a number of features that PC gamers will love. That includes Dolby Vision at 4K 120Hz, and that is of course thanks to HDMI 2.1 being on-board. There is also support for variable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode. LG also has support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technology.

Lg also has some gaming modes that let you shrink the display down to 32 or 27-inch monitors. So if you don’t want to play at the full 42-inches, you don’t have to.

Gamers are also able to use the LG Multi View mode to view content from different sources at the same time. So you can play a game while also watching YouTube at the same time.

Since this is IFA, LG has not yet released any information on pricing or availability. But it will be on display in Berlin this week, if you are heading to IFA.
