Motorola has launched some powerful phones this year, but its bread and butter lies in the affordable phone market. According to Android Authority, Motorola confirmed that the Moto G84 5G and the Moto G54 5G will come in September.

Motorola is launching the Moto G84 5G and Moto G54 5G
The Moto G series of phones is probably the company’s most popular line of phones. It encompasses several sub-series of phones like the Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power line of phones.
Motorola sent out some tweets talking about two mainline Moto G phones that are set to come out in early September. First, we have the Moto G84 5G. This phone has a decently sized 6.55-inch display with a pOLED FHD+ resolution, 10-bit technology, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. That sounds like an impressive display.
Moving over to the internals, this phone will use the Snapdragon 695 SoC. That’s a decently powerful chip. It’s backed up by an impressive 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card expansion.
As for the camera package, this phone comes with a 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture. That’s accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 118° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Rounding out the specs, this phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery, 33W charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 13 out of the box. It will only get the update to Android 14.
Next, we have the Moto G54 5G
This next phone will be a bit more modest than the aforementioned model. It will have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution. It will still have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
As for the internals, this handset is rocking the MediaTek 7020 SoC, which is also a decent mid-range chip. It will also have 12GB of RAM with 256GB of onboard storage.
This phone will share the same camera specs as the Moto G84 5G. Only, the selfie camera will have an aperture of f/2.2 rather than f/2.45.
You should expect some amazing battery life from this phone because it will have a large 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging. Other specs include a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The Moto G84 5G will launch on September 1st while the Moto G54 5G will hit the market on September 6th.
