The OnePlus 12R design was kept under wraps for quite some time, but recently, the floodgates have opened. We’ve seen quite a few leaks since then. In the newest development, the OnePlus 12R lifestyle images surfaced, giving us a look at real-life images of the phone, basically. These images come directly from OnePlus.
The OnePlus 12R appeared in lifestyle images
If you check out the images in the gallery below, you’ll get a better look at the device. This device does basically look like the OnePlus 12, so we know what to expect. Also, do note that the phone in the images is actually the OnePlus Ace 3.
The OnePlus 12R will be its name globally, and the OnePlus Ace 3 in China. The thing is, the Sand Gold color shown above will be exclusive to China. The other two will launch globally, the Star Black and Moon Sea Blue.
Color images of the device have seemingly also been revealed
Speaking of which, OnePlus also shared some new renders of the OnePlus 12R in all colors. Well, in all honesty, this is also the OnePlus Ace 3, but considering that the OnePlus 12R will look the same… it’s the same thing. Those pictures are included in the gallery below.
Once again, you can ignore the Sand Gold color, if you don’t live in China. The other two colors will launch globally, based on the teasers that leaked out recently. OnePlus could still surprise us, though, of course.
The OnePlus 12R will be inferior to the OnePlus 12, but it will still be quite powerful. That will be the first OnePlus R series device to launch outside of India, actually.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the device, while 100W charging will be supported
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the device, while a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display will be in use. The phone will pack plenty of modern RAM and storage, not to mention extremely fast 100W charging.
OnePlus will compromise a bit, though, of course, mainly in the camera department. That’s one area where the OnePlus 12 will be the clear winner. Well, that, and that more powerful SoC, and so on. The OnePlus Ace 3 is launching on January 4, while the OnePlus 12R will arrive on January 23.
