Razer is finally lifting the curtain completely on its new Blade 16, Blade 18, and Blade 14 gaming laptops, which the company is announcing today at CES. Last week it announced that it would be introducing some world’s first display innovations for its laptop lineup this year. That included the Blade 16 being the first laptop in the world to feature a 16-inch 240Hz OLED display.

Now Razer is revealing the rest of the details about the Blade 16 OLED model and the other two laptops. It also has a surprise to announce that it managed to keep secret until today. The surprise is a neat little USB-C dock that is incredibly slim and is intended to be a portable solution.

It has 11 ports, one of which is an HDMI output that supports 4K resolution at 60Hz. There’s also a 3.5mm audio port, 4 USB-A ports, 2 USB-C ports, a gigabit ethernet port, and a slot for SD and microSD. It even supports 85W charging for laptops and 7.1 surround sound for audio with the 3.5mm port. It launches today for $119.99.

The Razer Blade 16 will offer more than just a lightning-fast OLED display

Razer has generally been known to put some nice displays on its gaming laptops. But this will be the first time it’s pairing the 16-inch display size with not only the OLED panel technology but the 240Hz refresh rate. Promising a buttery smooth gameplay experience that delivers rich and vivid color contrasts for your games.

Additionally, the display is QHD+ resolution. Razer will also offer Dual Mode Mini-LED display options that can switch between FHD+ and UHD+ resolutions. These will have refresh rates of 240Hz and 120Hz respectively.

The Blade 16 is more than just a snazzy display, however. It’s also being outfitted with the latest Intel chips and can come with up to an Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU. That can be paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. So as always, Razer will be offering a beast of a laptop that can power you through even your most demanding gaming sessions. The Blade 16 will be available today starting at $2,999.99.

Both the Blade 14 and Blade 18 will launch later this year

The Blade 16 is shaping up to be a pretty impressive piece of kit. But it’s certainly not Razer’s only option. Those wanting something a little more portable or a little more powerful can opt for the Blade 18 or the Blade 14.

Starting with the smaller of the two, the Blade 14 keeps with its thin and light frame and boasts a 0.71-inch thickness and it only weighs about 4.05 lbs. Razer is also sticking with AMD and utilizing the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU which enables some AI-boosted features. Additionally, Razer is pairing that with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. So, plenty powerful for some high-end gaming on the go.

If you want even more power, the Blade 18 is set to offer it. This will come with a 165Hz 18-inch display with Thunderbolt 5 support. Unfortunately, Razer hasn’t shared much more than that on either of these two options. Both launch later this year. Razer says it’ll share pricing information on the Blade 14 closer to the pre-order date. Which is later this month. The Blade 18 is another story.

“More information will be shared later in the year,” Raer says.
