Right now Best Buy is offering a nice discount on the TCL S4 S-Class TV that brings the price down to just $249.99. The regular price of the TV is $279.99 so you save $30. It’s not a large discount, but when the TV is already this inexpensive a $30 discount can feel like a lot.
TCL has been one of the top brands in TVs for some time now. Part of what makes their TVs so good is that you can pick up a decent one for a reasonable price. With this model, you get a 50-inch screen with 4K UHD resolution so it’ll be great for watching content. Plus, it’s a Google TV so you’ll get access to the Play Store with availability to apps and games. Including Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Max, Spotify, and many more.
Speaking of games, this TV won’t necessarily be a top-of-the-line TV for hooking up your console. But that doesn’t mean it won’t work just fine. It comes with a native 60Hz refresh rate and there’s no HDMI 2.1 support. So you won’t get the 120fps at 4K for games on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X that offer that. That being said, many games on consoles don’t go above 60Hz yet anyway. Worth noting is that there are also three HDMI ports so you can plug in multiple devices, including consoles.
What I really love about this TV is that it has an Auto Game Mode. This will automatically turn on the Auto Low Latency. So you get low input lag when you do decide to play some games. This is a great feature because it will just turn itself on when the TV recognizes you’ve powered on your console. If you want a decent 4K TV that won’t cost a lot, this one from TCL is a great option.
