Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra gets announced with two-way satellite messaging

Ulefone has just announced a new smartphone, the Armor 23 Ultra. This phone is also a part of the company’s ‘Armor’ lineup, hence it’s Ulefone’s rugged smartphone. This phone does have a rather interesting feature that its siblings do not have.

The Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra comes with two-way satellite messaging. This feature is empowered by Bullitt Satellite, says Ulefone. If you’re worried you’ll end up in places without a signal, well, this can be a life-saving feature. This service enables 24/7 access to an international response center for emergency assistance.

The prototype of this phone was actually first presented at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The phone has a rather interesting design. There are two distinct colors on offer, the Elite Black and Umbra Orange.

The ‘Elite Black’ model has a Kevlar-looking texture on the back

If you’re into Kevlar texture, the Elite Black model is definitely for you. If not, well, there’s always the Umbra Orange model. That variant combines orange and black colors on the back. That color is supposed to represent a rather specific look. When the moon and the sun align, that’s what the backplate here symbolizes.

There’s a circular camera module included on the back of the phone, along with four cameras. The phone includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit, a 64-megapixel night vision camera, and a 3x telephoto unit.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 5G fuels this smartphone, while the phone is equipped with 12GB of RAM. You can expand that up to 24GB of RAM via virtual RAM if you want.

The phone has a large battery and supports extremely fast wired & wireless charging

A 5,280mAh battery is also a part of the package, and 120W charging is supported. On top of that, you also get support for 50W wireless charging here. Yes, Ulefone also includes a 120W charger in the box.

The Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra comes with 512GB of internal storage, which is expandable. You can pop in a microSD card of up to 2TB.

This phone definitely has plenty to offer, no matter what way you look at it. It will become available for purchase starting on January 8 on AliExpress, while it’s already listed there.
