It seems like Xiaomi will show off its humanoid robot at MWC later this month. The company kind of confirmed this via social media, when it showed its image (shown below), and specifically mentioned it.
Xiaomi is planning to show off its CyberOne humanoid robot at MWC 2023
We are, of course, talking about the ‘CyberOne’ robot, which got announced last year in China. Xiaomi refers to it as a “humanoid bionic robot”. This robot supports bipedal-motion posture balancing.
Last year, Xiaomi announced that it can reach a peak torque of up to 300Nm. It can also detect human motion, and has advanced vision capabilities. It can actually create three-dimensional virtual reconstructions of the real world.
The robot is 177cm tall, and weighs 52 grams. It has an arm span of 168cm, by the way. This robot can also simulate human movements, and it can also hold up to 1.5kg in each hand.
The CyberDog may also make an appeareance
If you take a look at the images in the gallery below, you’ll see what this robot looks like. Now, back in 2021, Xiaomi also announced the CyberDog robot. That one was not mentioned along with the CyberOne, but who knows, Xiaomi may show it off too.
The Xiaomi CyberOne robot will likely be only shown off to impress the crowd. Chances are this robot will not be made available to purchase following its MWC 2023 appearance, but we’ll see.
Xiaomi has plenty to share with us at MWC 2023. It has been teasing various tech via its social media accounts, and we know what the Xiaomi 13 series is coming. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will become official in global markets at MWC 2023.
Both of those phones have already launched in China, so we know what to expect. There’s plenty more that we expect Xiaomi to show off, so stay tuned, as the company’s keynote will take place on February 27.
